A video recap of our Development by Design dialogue with Teddy Cruz

By October 7, 2015 Blog

Last April we ended our series of Development by Design Dialogues with special guest Teddy Cruz, architect known for his extensive research of the Tijuana-San Diego border. In the dialogue, he talked about how architects and designers can act as mediators of bottom-up informal practices and top-down government policies to provide solutions to socio-economic disparity and contribute to healthy urban environments.

Here’s a recap of his most relevant thoughts throughout the talk. (We apologize for the poor audio; please activate the subtitles in the settings button!)
