In ATG Personalization, slots act as dynamic placeholders that either wait for content to be added to them (a passive slot) or call out to a renderer to deliver the content for them to display on the page. Because slots and scenarios work together to bring in content for the page, it’s important that you understand the nuances of their use. In particular, when using slots with offer management panels, it is recommended that you use only one scenario to fill each slot. Using more than one could cause unpredictable results.
